Is there a toolbox for statistical energy analysis?

10 views (last 30 days)
I just recently became aware of a project using statistical energy analysis (SEA)to help design an improved piano soundboard. It appears the SEA is a relatively new concept/method/paradigm and that there are packages available. It also appears that SEA arose from a need by aerospace engineers to predict the vibrational response to rocket noise. Does Matlab have an SEA package or is Matlab considering developing one?

Hi David, as far as I am aware there isn't a packaged solution for SEA. However I am interested in hearing about the type of analysis you are looking for. Is there a reference, links, packages you can share? Feel free to take a look at the Statistics Toolbox, Signal Procesing Toolbox, DSP System Toolbox and related products

Hi,I'm also studying the relevant theories of sea. Could you please provide the Matlab toolbox of sea? The previous link has failed. I would appreciate it if you could provide it.
