How to remove the background from the video or a frame?

I need matlab codings for removing background in a video or a single frame.

This technique is usually called Background Subtraction.

For video, kindly refer to the following OpenCV example in MATLAB:

For single frame, you need to use MATLAB “imsubtract” function.
