Dear all
Please I need help with an issue of secuaring every sec(Phi)which i need in a part of my code
Phi=0:(2*pi)/360:(340*pi)/180;
ff=sec(Phi).^2
the resulted matrix has all its elements zeros that multiplied in e+33
your help is higly appreciated

Your code would probably be clearer if you used linspace() instead of an increment.
Are you trying to work in degrees or radians? What is your maximum value in radians ?

I want to work in radians and the angle Phi varies from zero to 340
I am trying to find the x values where x=17.5/cos^2(phi) .All the values of x I got are zeros which is wrong but the first element of x was right (17.5)
Thank you for your concern

At the command prompt give the command
format long g
and then have another look at the values in ff.
