Import Filters and Manage Sessions

When you start a new session in the Filter Analyzer app, you can select one or more variables pointing to filter objects or coefficients from the MATLAB® workspace and import them as filters. At any time, you can save the current session or reopen a previously saved session.

Import Filters from MATLAB Workspace

To import filter objects from the MATLAB Workspace to Filter Analyzer, click Import Filter in the File section under the Analyzer tab. In the dialog box that appears, select one of these options.

For more information, see Import Filter.

Save and Load Filter Analyzer Session

Save the current Filter Analyzer session in a MAT file that contains the imported filters and filter analysis plots. To save the session, in the File section under the Analyzer tab, click Save Session▼ and select Save Session.

  • To save a session for the first time, browse to where you want to save the file, name the file, and click Save.

  • To change the name or location of the session file, click Save Session ▼ and select Save Session As.

Load a MAT file that contains a saved Filter Analyzer session to resume your work on the app. To load a saved session, in the File section under the Analyzer tab, click Open Session. Browse to the MAT file saved from a previous session, select it, and click Open. The imported filters and the corresponding analysis plots appear as they were when the file was last saved.

You can alternatively start a new session in Filter Analyzer. To start a new session, in the File section under the Analyzer tab, click New Session.
