Physical Signals

Synchronization signals (PSS and SSS), downlink reference signals (CRS, DM-RS, CSI-RS, and PRS)

Primary and secondary synchronization signals are used by terminals for cell search. Terminals use the various reference signals to aid channel estimation and to support measurements.
