Inflow Models

Use the inflow model blocks to capture the distribution of normal induced velocity through the rotor disc

Use inflow blocks based on analytical models to capture the distribution of normal induced velocity through the rotor disc. The Dynamic Inflow (3-State) block solves a set of three ODEs with the mean, lateral, and longitudinal inflow components as states, and captures a linear variation of inflow along the blade span, and first harmonic variation of inflow around the blade disc. The Dynamic Inflow (Finite-State) block solves a finite set of ODEs, and captures radial variation of inflow using Legendre functions, and the azimuthal variation using trigonometric functions.
