About
MathWorks is dedicated to supporting researchers in accelerating the impact of their work, contributing to the broader research community and driving progress in engineered systems.
We invite principal investigators (PIs) to submit research proposals aimed at advancing technological innovations and addressing industry-specific challenges. The MathWorks Call for Research Proposals seeks submissions across various topics, such as:
The MathWorks Lakeside campus in Natick, Massachusetts.
Neural interfaces
Global climate models
Gen-AI models for molecular design
Particle accelerators and plasma fusion
Radio frequency and gravitational astronomy
Physics-informed neural networks (PINNs)
Eligibility
Applicants must be current full-time faculty at an accredited academic institution that awards research degrees to Ph.D. students.
Applicants must be the PI on any resulting award.
Award recipients are expected to have identified a commercial partner that is willing to collaborate on the proposed project.
