Ray Tracing for Wireless Communications
Overview
In this webinar, you learn about new capabilities in MATLAB for modeling and analyzing radio frequency (RF) propagation in urban or indoor environments using ray tracing techniques. You will learn how easy it is in MATLAB to visualize wireless scenarios and model communication links. Practical demonstrations will show you how to quickly get started studying and visualizing RF scenarios.
Highlights
Highlights include:
- Virtual 3-D environment modeling for indoor and outdoor scenarios
- Configuring transmitter and receiver antennas and antenna arrays
- Incorporating effects of terrain, buildings, and atmospheric conditions
- Prediction of signal performance including multipath interference
- 5G Link-level simulation with ray tracing channel model
