Physiologically-based Modeling of Oral Drug Absorption with SimBiology
In this webinar we demonstrate how to build, analyze, explore and adapt a physiologically-based whole body model to investigate oral bioavailability in SimBiology®. This Physiologically-based Pharmacokinetic (PBPK) model includes detailed descriptions of dissolution, absorption, metabolism, distribution and elimination in the gastrointestinal tract and beyond. PBPK models have broad applications in fields such as drug formulation, systems pharmacology, dosing design and population studies.
Join us to see examples of these applications using the SimBiology Whole-Body PBPK model and learn more about using SimBiology for mechanistic and physiologically-based mathematical modeling.
