Description
FICO® Xpress Optimization allows businesses to solve large complex optimization problems. The platform's standard capabilities include scalable high-performance solvers and algorithms, flexible modeling environments, rapid application development, comparative scenario analysis and reporting capabilities, for on-premises and cloud installations. It is composed of four core components: FICO® Xpress Insight, FICO® Xpress Executor, FICO® Xpress Solver and FICO® Xpress Workbench.
FICO® Xpress Solver helps customers solve their most difficult and complex business problems by providing the most comprehensive set of optimization algorithms and technologies to solve linear, mixed integer, nonlinear and constraint programming problems. FICO® Xpress Mosel is used for easy modelling of optimization problems in an algebraically oriented notation based on sets, indices and algebraic expressions.
Models can be developed in the language and with the editor of choice. With FICO® Xpress Workbench we offer an IDE to develop models in Xpress Mosel or Python and deploy them into FICO® Xpress Insight applications. FICO® Xpress Insight allows users to rapidly deploy analytic and optimization models into fully functional software applications.
Data transfer between MATLAB and Xpress works in-memory. FICO Xpress provides API functions, the Optimizer interface for MATLAB, in order to solve optimization problems. Further, Xpress Mosel models can be executed from within a MATLAB model where data can be transferred in-memory between MATLAB and Xpress Mosel and vice versa.
