Ph.D. on Computer Vision and Machine Learning at L3I Research Lab, University of La Rochelle, France.
My PhD research activities were focused on the application of advanced matrix and tensor tools for computer vision and machine learning problems. The main focus is robust video analysis, such as: background modeling and subtraction, image and video classification, 3D skeletal action recognition, online/incremental learning.
Main research tools: Robust PCA (RPCA), Matrix/Tensor Factorization, Low-rank and Sparse Representation, Subspace Clustering, Online Tensor Decomposition.
Main research interests: Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Pattern Recognition, Applied Mathematics, Matrix and Tensor Decomposition, Optimization, Big Data. My interest also includes intelligent video analytics by: object detection, segmentation and tracking, crowd analysis and motion analysis for event/action recognition and behavior classification.
