Solar Station Simulator

A Solar Station with SCADA system like interface to control the power supplied to the grid and simulate the effect of faults.

You are now following this Submission

This is a simulator for a fully functioning solar station with PV module, MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking), dc link capacitor and a grid connected inverter. A PID Incremental Conductance controller is implemented for the MPPT. A cascaded loop control based on dq0 (Park) transformation is used to control the active and reactive power of the inverter. The grid connection at the PCC (Point of Common Coupling) consists of a transformer connected to a double circuit transimssion line. An interface resembling SCADA system is created using Simulink Dashboard to allow for easy control of the solar station. Finally, to analyze the effect of different faults on the operation and control of the solar station, faults can be induced on one of the circuits of the double circuit transimission line using the faults combo box available in the interface.
