Returns the file elements converted to hexadecimal and in a matrice with a desired number of columns.
Syntax:
[HEX,SIZE] = HEXFREAD(FILE,COLS)
In the screenshot is shown an example with the MATLAB icon:
h=hexfread([matlabroot,'/X11/icons/matlab32c_icon.xpm'])
The inverse is done by HEXDISP.
