M/D/6 Queueing Simulation

Simulink based queueing model of six servers, poisson arrivals and deterministic service time.

The case is to model production of P99 using six 3D printers. Arrival follows Poisson distribution with mean arrival rate of 24 per hour. Service time of each server is deterministic 15 minutes. Green indicator indicates that the printer is idle while red indicates busy and the utilization percentages are shown below them. Running average arrival rate, time in system, as well as number in system are also shown. Number in system is also graphed according to simulation time. Default is 8 hours.

The model is built using basic Simulink blocks so the logic of the programming might be difficult to follow. Feel free to reach me if you have any question.
