STACKEDAXES offers similar but limited syntax to Matlab's stackedplot.

stackedaxes(X,Y), where X is a vector of length n and Y an n-by-m matrix, plots each column in y against X in a vertical stack of m axes, sharing the same x-axis.

stackedaxes(Y) plots each column in Y against its row indices.

[ax, xLine, xText] = stackedaxes(...) returns handles to the axes, the vertical reference line, and the reference textbox that shows the current x-value.

- Specify the y-axis labels with the "DisplayLabels" Name-Value pair.
- Pass any Name-Value pairs to the internal plotting functions.

This function was constructed quickly as part of an answer in the Matlab Forum and does not match the functionality of stackplot.

Tested in Matlab r2016a and r2020b.
