MATLAB provides a volume visualization function (volshow) with the image processing toolbox, however objects created by this function do not operate with standard AXES type handles. Linking viewpoints for multiple images is therefore not as simple as calling linkprop.

This function enables the user to simultaneously manipulate the viewpoint of volume objects created by VOLSHOW using a patch-object in a second figure. The user is also provided with the ability to modify the volume visualization configurations either uniformly across passed volumes or independently for each volume.
