This is a simulation model for type-2 semi-controlled rectifier. Type-2 semi-controlled rectifier provides single quadrant operation and it has equal average & RMS current in all of the semi-conductor devices. However, it suffers from 'half wave' effect and a freewheeling diode at the output is needed to overcome this issue.
