This is a little ditty I put together while playing with Java. Remember that inputs and outputs are character arrays. I used Java rather than the Symbolic Toolbox.

USAGE:
c = jhex2dec(h);

VARIABLES:
h = hexdecimal input character array
c = decimal output character array
