Two MATLAB functions are provided. The first file "nawhimar.m" generates a divergent colormap, ranging from navy blue through bright blue (azure) to white and continuing through bright red to Maroon. The second file "nawhimar_auto.m" uses the current axes CLim property (or input values) to scale the colormap so that zero values appear white, and the maximal shade of blue/red is based on the amplitude relative the zero baseline.
