Heat conduction in a three-dimensional domain with a temperature-dependent thermal conductivity
Consider a cubic solid made of pure copper with a thermal conductivity linearly varying with temperature [1] in the
temperature range 293–1,300 K according to k=k(T)=k0*(1-a T); where T is the local temperature expressed in
kelvin at any point M {x; y; z} of the cubic domain, k0=420:75W/m.K and a=1.6278e-4 1/K. We determine
the temperature distribution inside this three dimensional domain.
