Newmark method for earthquake analysis. Solves the vibration response of a 1DOF mass-damper-spring system subject to ground motion and any other time-varying forcing functions. Will accept any .dat file with the first column used for time points and the other with acceleration data scaled by gravity. Requires creation of a f.m file containing the forcing term f(t). Also, does an FFT on the ground acceleration data and plots the corresponding spectrum.
Later versions will include response acceleration spectrum.
