this model explains the working of the DFIG WT. The rotor side converter is modelled as controlled voltage source and grid side converter is neglected as machine is basically controlled by the rotor side converter and most of the active and reactive power is supplied by the machine. The vector control technique is used for controlling the DFIG. This is not a full model but only a starting guide for those who want to learn about DFIG control. the active and reactive power of the machine are regulated by the rotor side converter.
