Simple yet effective and practical PI controller analytical tuning in the DRFOC drive.
The modulus [magnitude] and symmetric[al] optimum criteria (the Kessler's variants) are used to tune the PI current and speed controllers in a direct rotor field-oriented controller (DRFOC) for asynchronous motor drives. The PID Tuner (Control System Toolbox) is employed to design the flux controller.
