Instrument Control Toolbox Support Package for Keysight IO Libraries and VISA Interface

Control instruments using Keysight (Agilent) VISA.

Updated 10 Mar 2021

Instrument Control Toolbox™ Support Package for Keysight™ IO Libraries and VISA Interface enable you to to control instruments, make measurements, analyze data, and build test systems. Once data is in MATLAB®, you can analyze and visualize that data for tasks such as signal processing, statistical analysis, digital filtering, and curve fitting. VISA is a standard for configuring and programming test systems. Instrument Control Toolbox enables you to work with VISA interfaces directly from MATLAB or Simulink® .

This support package is functional for R2015b and beyond.

@Harel Primack: This package allows you to use Keysight's VISA driver and instrument connection interface alleviating the need for you to write your own. Connection to VISA devices over TCP/IP can be managed through Keysight's connection manager and said instruments can then be interfaced through the "visa" I/O class in the instrument control toolbox.

Your devices do not need to be Agilent/Keysight for this to work, they just need to be VISA compliant.

@Silviu Zilberman this library should make possible to link Multimeters manifacturered by Agilent (now Keysight).
It is possible that particular devices from other manifacturers, let say Fluke may be copatible too because of use of simular I/O protocols.
So back to your question - this packed extends the ability of the "Instrument Control Toolbox" to understand partucular language used instruments produced from Agilent(Keysight) with the hope that other brands devices may also be benefit is compatilbe with Agilent.
