LPC_Error_Analysis
Version 1.0.0.0 (1.44 MB) by
Lawrence Rabiner
Illustrates the flat spectrum nature of the LPC error signal for a typical speech frame.
This MATLAB exercise processes a user-designated frame of speech, using either the autocorrelation method or the covariance method of LPC analysis. Using the resulting LPC model, the exercise computes and plots the error signal by filtering the speech input by the inverse filter. The file '3.17 LPC Error Spectra.pdf' provides a User's Guide for this exercise.
