mmdd2ddd is a MATLAB function that converts the month and day of a month to corresponding day of the year.

Syntax is:
ddd=mmdd2ddd(yyyy,mm,dd)
converts day dd of month mm of year yyyy to the corresponding day ddd of the same year.
