Android sensor data acquisition – azimuth, pitch and roll

Capture the orientation of a mobile device from a computer running MATLAB.

You are now following this Submission

This example shows how to capture the orientation of an Android mobile device such as a mobile phone or tablet. The orientation is defined as a combination of three angular quantities: Azimuth, pitch, and roll. The example shows how to access current values of orientation and also demonstrates how to plot logged orientation values.

This example requires the user to first install the MATLAB Support Package for Android Sensors which is available here:

To use this example, you will also be required to download the mobile app: SensorUdp app by Takashi, Sasaki from Google Play.
