A MATLAB Script for Terrestrial and Celestial Coordinate Conversion
PDF document, two MATLAB functions and a companion demonstration script that can be used to rotate a vector to and from the terrestrial and celestial systems. The first function transforms a vector in the International Terrestrial Reference System (ITRS; a rotating earth-fixed system) to the Geocentric Celestial Reference System (GCRS; a local space-fixed system) by applying rotations for polar motion, earth rotation, nutation, precession, and the dynamical-to-gcrs frame tie. The second MATLAB function performs the GCRS-to-ITRS transformation.
