STFT gives the time information along with frequency information of the signal. I used rectangular window which obviously has same width allover the programming. I used a signal with 2 frequencies at 2 different timings. When you see the program you get to see the plots which will make you clear about STFT. The time and frequency information is got with more accuracy...
