Rehabilitation Progress Tracker - Joint Angle Analysis Using MATLAB
This project presents a MATLAB based simulation framework for analysing lower limb joint angles during gait. The objective is to demonstrate how computational tools can be used to monitor rehabilitation progress by evaluating biomechanical movement patterns.
The program processes open source gait datasets and computes joint angle variations overtime. MATLAB visualisation tools are used to generate plots that represent movement trends, enabling the identification of deviations from normal gait patterns.
Such analysis can assist in tracking rehabilitation progress for individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries or undergoing physiotherapy.
Key Features:
  • Joint angle computation using gait data
  • MATLAB visualisation of movement trends
  • Rehabilitation progress monitoring framework
Future Scope:
This framework can be extended by integration real time wearable sensor data such as IMU signals for continuous rehabilitation monitoring.
