Islanding Detection Techniques for Grid-connected Sytems

A MATLAB/Simulink model of a grid-connected PV system was built to assess islanding detection methods at the PCC.
The simulated system includes:
- A PV array supplying DC power,
- A DC/DC isolated converter controlled by an Incremental Conductance MPPT algorithm,
- A DC-link for power stabilization,
- A three-phase Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) operating in grid-following mode with current control in the synchronous
reference frame,
- A Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) for grid synchronization,
- Passive and active anti-islanding protection blocks implemented according to IEEE 1547
