This project presents the design and simulation of a Field-Oriented Control (FOC) system for a three-phase induction motor using MATLAB.
FOC, also known as Vector Control, allows independent control of motor torque and flux—similar to that of a DC motor—by transforming three-phase currents into a rotating reference frame using Clarke and Park transformations.
