Hannibal Barca Optimizer (HBO) is introduced as a novel meta-heuristic designed for global optimization.
The Hannibal Barca Optimizer (HBO) is a population-based metaheuristic that fuses Hannibal’s pincer-inspired envelopment to address high-dimensional, nonconvex optimization. HBO employs a tripartite search scheme, echoing the staged tactics of Cannae, to balance exploration and exploitation efficiently.
