This app is a helpful tool for hobbyists, students, and engineers who are in the early stages of designing their own RC aircraft. It estimates the total weight of the RC plane based on key input parameters such as payload, battery energy density, and flight time.
By simulating different lift-to-drag (L/D) ratios, the app assists users in understanding how the gliding ratio affects the overall weight. This insight helps set a realistic target for L/D, which can then guide the aerodynamic and structural design process of the plane.
