The NASA/IPAC Infrared Science Archive (IRSA) supports infrared images from a variety of sources, including Wise, Spitzer, DSS, and SDSS. Catalog searching and image retrieval is available interactively through the IRSA web portal. This Live Script illustrates ways to access and process such images using the portal API.
This script may interest students and instructors of astronomy and physics. Additional educational Live Scripts by the author are available here.
