Version 1.0.0 (43.9 KB) by
Abdelrahman Farghly
MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) using the Incremental Conductance method with a Boost Converter in MATLAB Simulink
System Components
- PV Array
- Use Simscape’s PV Array block or custom PV model.
- Inputs: Irradiance and Temperature
- Outputs: Voltage VVV, Current III
- Boost Converter
- Components:
- Inductor
- Capacitor
- Diode
- MOSFET or IGBT (controlled switch)
- Converts variable PV voltage to regulated DC output
- Duty cycle DDD is controlled by MPPT algorithm
- MPPT Controller (Incremental Conductance)
