A capacitive wireless charger (also called capacitive power transfer, CPT) is an emerging alternative to traditional inductive wireless.

Basic Concept:
Two plates form a capacitive coupling between the transmitter and receiver. High-frequency AC voltage across the plates creates an oscillating electric field, which transfers energy.
