Boost converter with neural network control
Version 1.0.0 (59.8 KB) by
Abdelrahman Farghly
A boost converter with neural network control refers to a power converter whose output is regulated by a neural network-based controller.
Why Use Neural Network Control?
Traditional control (like PID) works well for linear, time-invariant systems, but a boost converter is:
- Nonlinear (due to switching)
- Time-varying (with load/voltage changes)
- Affected by parameter uncertainties (like ESR, inductance drift, etc.)
A neural network can:
- Learn the system behavior from data
- Handle nonlinearity and unmodeled dynamics
- Provide fast, adaptive control
