Minimizing the cost of preparing livestock feed

Minimizing the cost of preparing livestock feed -Application Demonstration Using MATLAB

You are now following this Submission

  • This white paper describes the demonstration using MATLAB to minimize the cost of feed production for livestock while incorporating uncertainty in nutritional needs. Some numerical examples have been provided with the MATLAB Codes to illustrate the resolution of this problem of minimizing the cost of production of livestock feed with the usual distribution laws (normal law, uniform law and exponential law). Two plots have been generated to show the minimum percentage requirements and their associated probabilities under normal distribution. The second plot offers a more compact way to visualize both aspects simultaneously. production for livestock while incorporating uncertainty in nutritional needs.
