ECG - BASED ARRHYTHMIA DETECTION

ECG-Based Arrhythmia Detection identifies abnormal heart rhythms by analyzing and comparing ECG signals for accurate diagnosis.

You are now following this Submission

The ECG-Based Arrhythmia Detection project aims to identify irregular heart rhythms by analyzing electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. ECG is a non-invasive method that records the heart's electrical activity through its characteristic PQRST wave pattern. This project focuses on comparing normal ECG signals with those exhibiting arrhythmic behavior.
The methodology involves:
  1. Signal Acquisition: Collecting raw ECG data using sensors or simulated datasets.
  2. Preprocessing: Removing noise and artifacts for clearer signal interpretation.
  3. Feature Extraction: Identifying key ECG features like the P, Q, R, S, and T waves to detect abnormalities.
  4. Comparison: Contrasting normal and arrhythmic signals to pinpoint irregular patterns.
The outcome is a comprehensive system that enables accurate arrhythmia detection, aiding early diagnosis and management of cardiac conditions.
