This model presents a solar power generation system integration with the utility grid. The system uses Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) in a DC-DC converter with a Perturb and Observe technique to maximize power extraction from the photovoltaic (PV) array. This system then boosts the DC voltage and converts it to a three-phase AC voltage using a Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC). The MMC's output voltage has a Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of less than 5%, making it suitable for grid connection. This integration offers economic benefits by enabling industries to sell excess power and enhances grid stability by supplying renewable energy during peak periods.
