MMC based Solar Grid Integration to Utility Grid using MPPT

Enhancing solar power by applying the MPPT algorithm, and integrating with utility grid using MMC to ensure grid stability with low THD.

You are now following this Submission

This model presents a solar power generation system integration with the utility grid. The system uses Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) in a DC-DC converter with a Perturb and Observe technique to maximize power extraction from the photovoltaic (PV) array. This system then boosts the DC voltage and converts it to a three-phase AC voltage using a Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC). The MMC's output voltage has a Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of less than 5%, making it suitable for grid connection. This integration offers economic benefits by enabling industries to sell excess power and enhances grid stability by supplying renewable energy during peak periods.
