Spike Runner is a 2D endless runner game designed for Key Stage 3 children. It combines fast-paced action with math challenges, offering an engaging way to practice math skills while navigating a dynamic game environment.

Gameplay:

• Core Mechanics:
• The player starts with 100 HP and must dodge spikes moving across the screen at different angles and speeds.
• Players answer math questions at regular intervals to gain new abilities and progress through levels.
• Players progress through levels by answering questions correctly.
• Abilities unlocked through correct answers include jump, lateral movement, double jump, and teleport.
• The game features two modes: Normal Mode and Endless Mode.
• Normal Mode:
• The game ends when the player correctly answers all questions.
• Endless Mode:
• The game continues until the player dies.

Progression:

• As levels increase, the speed and frequency of spikes increase, making dodging more challenging.
• Correctly answered questions allow players to regenerate health or gain health by surviving the level when out of questions.
• Incorrectly answered questions are moved to the back of the queue, and players remain on the same level.

• Players start with 100 HP.
• Each spike hit does 10 damage.
• Health can be regenerated by answering questions correctly or by surviving levels.
• Abilities:
• Jump
• Lateral movement
• Double jump
• Teleport
• Local Leaderboard:
• Top 5 scores are saved on the device for high-scoring players.
