The main goal of the App is to provide a tool that allows the user to modify the parameters of the PARSEC parametrization and see how the airfoil geometry is changed.
This is a very useful tool for airfoil optimization using PARSEC parametrization because one could export the new geometry and evaluate its performance through CFD or other tools.
This app allows also the user to express a generic airfoil geometry through the PARSEC parametrization, this function is not optimized for any airfoil geometry.
With the "airfoil selection" button one could select the airfoil geometry that the user would like to optimize (the file should contain only two columns, the first one represents the x-coordinates and the second one the y-coordinates of the airfoil); the geometry will be plotted and the correspondent PARSEC parameters will appear on the left side.
With the "plot" button it's possible to plot the airfoil described with the PARSEC parameters, then the user could change the parameters and "replot" the new airfoil.
The coordinates of the new geometry are in the table on the left and they could be exported thanks to the "export points" button.
