Determination of the optical constants n, k and thickness of a weakly absorbing tin film

This script uses ascii data format from a transmission spectrum, you must write the name of the file in the command window. Then in the graph, you will find the maximum and minimum points. Use the cross hair, from left to right, to click the maximum points; later the minimum points. The result is a list of the complex index and their errors to the different wavelengths, and a list of the thickness plus the error of the thin film.
The strongest approximation in the script is the idea of a material free of dispersion.
The zip file contains:
* calcula_espesor_pelis_trans.m This is the script
* my_data.out This is a practice file with max and min points
*localmaxmin.m by Duane Hanselman
Thanks to Duane Hanselman, who made << Local Maxima and/or Minima>>, I used it to show the minima and maxima points.
