The Lemurs Optimizer (LO) algorithm is a nature-inspired metaheuristic optimization algorithm inspired by the behavior of lemurs in nature. It was proposed by Mohamed Abd Elaziz et al. in 2019 as a novel optimization algorithm for solving global optimization problems. The algorithm mimics the collective foraging behavior of lemurs, particularly their tendency to explore new areas while staying connected to other lemurs in the group.
