This image quality assessment metric, dubbed PSNRB, is a modified version of the traditional peak-signal-to-noise ration provides lower and upper bounds of quality values. It offers intuitive interpretation of quality results generated from image restoration algorithms. A paper that describes this metric has been submitted to a journal for consideration for publication.
