Drag and drop PDF to MATLAB conversion with ChatGPT
Version 1.0.1 (1.34 MB) by
Duncan Carlsmith
Illustrates how to manually drag over a PDF to generate MATLAB code using OpenAI's ChatGPT.
So imagine you are interested in understanding better, say, the 1/v energy dependence of the cross section for neutron-induced fission on uranium (why thermal energy neutrons are good, high energy neutrons not so much), and you find this lovely optical-analog paper in pdf form [1] and just gotta play with a formula there.
Drag over the paragraph in the pdf and drop onto ChatGPT with the directive "convert to MATLAB code". The results are a good start!
This script may be interest researchers and MATLAB users.
