Graphical Statistical Analysis Tool
Version 1.0.3 (804 KB) by
Lorenzo Cappelli
The GSAT allows to identify and separate the different lognormal populations that contribute to a natural distribution of geochemical data.
The Graphical Statistical Analysis Tool (GSAT) allows to easily identify and separate the different lognormal populations that contribute to a natural distribution (measured) of a geochemical dataset. The code is based on the graphical method described by Sinclair (1974) which uses probability plots. It can be used for different kinds of geochemical data (assuming a natural lognormal distribution of populations), but particularly is designed for diffuse soil CO2 fluxes for which total areal emissions can be computed.
