Export FE results to Texplot for visualization
Version 1.0.0 (68.7 KB) by
Javad Parsi
This function gets the finite element data and create a Tecplot file that can be opened in Tecplot for data visualization.
Tecplot is a great tool for data visualization in computational engineering specially finite element method. To be able to use tecplot you need to save the mesh data and field variables in a specific format. This function provides a tool to create such a file. The code supports some commonly used elements including triangular, quadrilateral, tetrahedral and hexahedral elements. It works for 2D and 3D domains.
